Alldigital permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control system based on digital signal processor (DSP) was designed to improve the control precision and instantaneity of PMSM servo system. The DSP (TMS320F28335 ) has rich onchip resource and floatingpoint calculations unit, which makes hardware design simple and operation fast. On the basis of mathematical models and vector control theory of PMSM, the hardware and software for PMSM control system was designed. The control system has functions such as completion of control algorithms、current and rotor position acquisition、speed calculation and SVPWM generation. The experiment on 1.5 kW PMSM of Syntron corporation was conducted and the results show that the control system has accurate speed, good control performance and stable operation.
