    摘要:

    分相存储技术是近年来提出的一种利用物理存储资源换取系统工作速度提高的技术,采用该技术的DDS往往消耗大量的逻辑资源。针对DDS分相存储技术在实际应用中消耗过多资源的问题,从逻辑层面出发,分析了该结构实际应用的难点,提出了一种串联型多相相位累加器结构以弥补分相存储技术在实际应用方面的不足。以四相存储相位累加器的优化为例,通过对比优化前后逻辑资源的占用比例,证明在不影响性能的前提下该优化结构有助于降低19.6%组合逻辑资源开销。最后成功地将该优化结构应用于500MSPS波形合成,验证了它的实用价值。

    Abstract:

    Split phase storage technology is presented in recent years, using more physical storage resources to make system work at a higher speed. DDS adopts the technology tends to consume a lot of logical resources. This paper aiming at DDS splitphase storage technology resource depletion problems in practical application, analyzing difficulties in the practical application of this structure from the logic level, then puts forward a cascade splitphase phase accumulator structure to make up for splitphase storage technology in practical application. Taking the optimization to phase accumulator with four phase storage for example, comparing logic resources utilization ratio with and without optimization, the results proves that the optimized structure helps reduce 19.6% combinational logic resource overhead while has no effect on performance. Finally the optimized structure was successfully applied to 500MSPS waveform synthesis and proved its practical value.
